Manga artist Tomomitsu Yamamoto, also known online as Yatomomin, will hold a first solo exhibition at space caiman kanda from November 6–29, 2026.
Titled “Otome no Okazu.”, the adults-only exhibition brings Yamamoto’s original characters and artwork into a physical gallery setting. Visitors can explore manga manuscript displays, illustrated photo spots, original analog artwork, and exhibition merchandise.
For readers who usually encounter Yamamoto’s work digitally, it is an opportunity to see the artwork up close and discover a different side of its creation.
What Will Be on Display?
The exhibition centres on Yamamoto’s Toro Hame series, which depicts pairings of the artist’s original characters.
The gallery has announced manuscript displays, panel-based photo spots, and an exhibition and sale of original analog illustrations. Together, these offer visitors a chance to move beyond the screen and spend time with the artwork in person.
The announcement does not confirm that the artist will be present throughout the exhibition. Anyone hoping to meet Yamamoto should check separately for announced appearances.
Exhibition Merchandise and a Printed Catalogue
Planned merchandise includes acrylic items, stickers, and tote bags featuring newly drawn illustrations.
An official exhibition catalogue containing new artwork is also planned. As Yamamoto primarily publishes digitally, the catalogue offers an opportunity to collect the work in print.
The gallery has also announced plans for a signing event during the exhibition, timed around the catalogue’s release. Check the official channels for the date, participation requirements, and merchandise availability before planning a visit specifically around these items.

Check the official admission information for which price applies to your preferred bonus option before visiting.
November 6–8: Reserve Before You Go
To help manage opening-weekend crowds, advance reservations are required for Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8.
Each day has its own LivePocket reservation page:
- Friday, November 6: Reserve entry
- Saturday, November 7: Reserve entry
- Sunday, November 8: Reserve entry
Reservations opened on October 29 at 7:00 PM and close at 11:00 AM on each visiting day.
Each visitor needs an individual QR-code ticket, which must be displayed at entry. Admission is paid separately at the gallery.
These are numbered entry reservations. The organizer cautions that, depending on how the day progresses, obtaining a number does not guarantee that every visitor can be admitted before closing.
If all reserved numbers have been called during opening hours, the gallery may switch to walk-in entry for the remainder of that day. Check official updates rather than assuming this will be available.
Practical Information for Your Visit
Travel light. The gallery has limited space and does not store suitcases or other large luggage. Leave bulky bags in a nearby coin locker before arriving.
Use the restroom beforehand. Visitor restroom facilities are not available at the gallery.
Check before photographing. Designated photo spots are planned, but this should not be taken as permission to photograph every artwork or display. Follow the gallery’s signs and staff instructions.
Re-entry is restricted during admission controls. Plan accordingly if visiting during a busy period.
Cancel responsibly if your plans change. The organizer asks visitors not to leave reservations unused without notice and warns that no-shows may affect admission to future events.
Food gifts for the artist are not accepted. Any other gifts brought to the venue should have the sender’s name attached.
